Our company’s branches in Chubu, Kansai, and Kyushu aim to be solution providers that contribute to solving our customers’ challenges by embodying the principles of “Adept,” “Fast,” and “Close.” Here, “Adept” refers to expertise grounded in business experience, “Fast” to mobility for prompt action, and “Close” to the nearest trading company customers can easily turn to for assistance in each region. We aim to be a company chosen by our customers through these three strengths

In addition, one of our key strengths is that while we are community-based, we also have access to a global-scale network through the Mitsui & Co. Group, enabling us to reach a wide range of countries and industries. In today’s VUCA era, business development is rarely completed solely in the chemical industry or sector; instead, we are increasingly collaborating with related companies and organizations within the Group to address challenges.

Each region is now entering an exciting and important phase: Chubu, which supports Japan’s manufacturing industry centered on the automotive sector; Kansai, a vibrant city of merchants that bustled with activity during Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai; and Kyushu, where semiconductor plants, often referred to as the “rice of industry,” continue to be established.

In Japan’s chemical industry, restructuring involving consolidation and elimination of facilities, as well as movements toward decarbonization and energy transition, is underway. Taking this opportunity, as a regionally rooted chemical trading company, we will continue to fulfill our critical mission of ensuring a stable supply of essential raw materials to our customers.At the same time, we will focus on shining technologies and services that are deeply embedded in each region, and actively work together with our customers to create new businesses that have the potential to become game changers.

Through these initiatives, we aspire to be a company that customers choose — one that makes them feel that working with MBC creates value.
