The Aromatics & Organic Chemicals Dept. has a mission to provide a safe and stable supply of toluene, xylene, and aroma derivatives to customers in Japan and overseas by fully exercising its domestic sales, trading, inventory, and distribution functions. We will respond quickly to environmental changes both in Japan and overseas, and aim to build enduring and strong partnerships with the domestic petrochemical industry and all customers who use chemicals.

Distribution business
of toluene and xylene

We have stock points at major locations in Japan, as well as domestic manufacturers and partners, which enable us to deliver products throughout Japan. Besides, we are also committed to the safety management and distribution of toluene and xylene, which are deleterious substances. In addition to domestic sales, we also have import and export functions and excel at making adjustments according to the domestic supply and demand environment.

Import and sale business of PTA (high-purity terephthalic acid)

Started import and sales business for PTA (high-purity terephthalic acid), which will be in an import position in Japan from 2023. We have established a stable supply system with multiple stock points at major domestic bases. Furthermore, with the cooperation of our partner companies, we have also realized small-lot packaging (minimum: 25 kg PE bags). We will also continue to face large overseas suppliers from the perspective of our domestic customers.

Sales of biomass products using the mass balance method

We acquired ISCC PLUS certification in 2022. We have started handling biomass-derived aromatic products and derivatives produced in Japan using the mass balance method. Please contact us individually for more information on supported products and details.
