We at the Company’s branches in Chubu, Kansai, and Kyushu aim to be solution providers that contribute to solving client problems and challenges in a “good,” “fast,” and “close” manner. Our services are: “good” as we have on-site expertise; “fast” as we have the mobility to act fast; and “close” as we are the most convenient trading company that is the closest to our clients in the respective regions and at their service. We would like to be a company that is chosen by our clients based on these three points.

Another characteristic of the Company is that, while we are locally based, we have access to all countries and industries through the global network of the Mitsui Group. Business in the VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) era is rarely completed solely in the chemical industry or domain, but increasingly involves collaboration and cooperation with related companies and organizations within the group to solve problems.

The Chubu region, which supports Japan’s manufacturing industry centering on the automobile industry, the Kansai region, which is towns of merchants that are booming with the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and the Kyushu region, where plants for semiconductors, called the rice of industry, continue to be established, are all facing exciting and important times.

In the Japanese chemical industry, industry restructuring with facility consolidation, decarbonization, and energy transitions are underway. Seizing this opportunity, we will, as a trading company rooted in the local community, fulfill our important mission of providing a stable supply of basic materials and raw materials to our clients. At the same time, we will focus on brilliant technologies and services that are buried in each region and actively work together with our clients to create businesses that are not yet in the world and can be the seeds of game changers.
